The tournament started slightly late. However, it was organized rather well by Syabil and Co.
TFD was drawn into Group 1 which consisted of TFD, JOONG GHEE(Sri Inai) and GHETTO.

GAME ONE
TFD 4 - 0 JOONG GHEE

We were then paired against our good friends from BU4, TFK.
We lost 2 - 1 and this marked the first time we lost this early in the competition.
I have to admit it was a really good game though.
Since there isn't much more to talk about, I'd like to congratulate team GOD for being the Champions and Baby Blue Butterfly for their amazing performance in the tournament and making it all the way to the Finals!
Special thanks to Syabil for organizing such a wonderful tournament and the people who helped him to do so. Hope you enjoy the pictures..

Finally, the long awaited proper post of TFD blog is done ! It was a bright and sunny Saturday just like any great Saturday would be. Teams were asked to be gathered in Footy Futsal Center at 8.30am but as predicted, 'Malaysian timing' la, the event was only started around 9.30am. The sun was blazing hot as me and Syabil made our way inside this very small school.
Sri Inai Beaconhouse is a beautiful international school located at Taman Sea. It's just behind Projet and down the road from our school. So there wasn't much problem finding it. ( though some turned up late! )

The match finally started at 4 pm and I was really impressed by the futsal court and the amount of people who turned up to watch the match. I'd consider them a really supporting school because if you did something similar in our school, not much people would turn up. So yeah..

First half review :
I think we played REALLY well this half. I (Daniel Tan) scored an early goal and then we pretty much controlled the game after on. Sri Inai had their fair share of chances and took a lot of long distance shots. However, Jesse's top form denied any celebrations for the home team whatsoever. Harith then scored the second goal in the middle of the second half. Good defending from Sri Inai caused the score to be stuck at 2-0 by half time.

Second half review :

I didn't start this half so it gave me time to watch the game as a third person observer. Sri Inai didn't attack much in this half and the shots were mostly coming from us. Two goals were disallowed by the referee leaving Chee Yen in tears. In my opinion one AT LEAST should have been allowed. Khairil also had a lot of chances this half but failed to scored any. More and more fans of Sri Inai started leaving as the second half progressed. Nearing the end of the match, Erwin got our team's last goal and secured the victory. 3-0 the Final Score.

Everyone is happy except for poor Chee Yen :(

I enjoy passing my time running around with my Nike free. As I'm feeling lazy, i enjoy listening to songs.

How long have you been playing football/futsal and how did you start?
I started taking it seriously at around the age of 12. I kicked the ball around with my brother.

Do you prefer playing football or fusal? Explain.
Futsal when I'm playing with my mates. Football when occasionally. Although it seems a fair choice, I think football might appear second best and futsal would be my choice.

Do you consider yourself a professional football/futsal player?
Definitely not. As professionals play and earn from it. I'm just plain amateur.

Manchester United performed a superior display this season and managed to bring the title back after 3 long years. They have an admirable line of midfielders, consisting Ronaldo, Scholes, Giggs and Carrick .

What about The Champions League or the Fa Cup? Which both Manchester United lost to AC Milan and Chelsea respectively.
AC Milan had a strong run in the champions league, and Manchester United wasn't in the form to stop AC Milan as they were on fire. Chelsea is just...no comment.

Your opinion on the female gender playing sports? Particularly in football and/or futsal.
Females who play football/futsal are sooo hot. In condition they do not forget to put on their skirts and lipsticks. =p
